Rollei 35 Compact 35mm Film Camera (Early Production Model)

The Rollei 35 is a premium 35mm scale focus camera, originally built by Rollei-Werke Franke & Heidecke in Germany. When the Rollei 35 was first released in November 1966, it was the smallest full-frame 35mm camera ever made, a claim that remained true for years even after it was discontinued. The entire Rollei 35 series was very popular due to its miniature form and ability to produce high quality photographs. 

This camera is tested and working, and a full CLA has been performed. Due to the refurbished nature of the product, the item you receive may vary slightly from what is pictured. Please note that the camera you receive may show some signs of light wear, including minor scratching and small corner dings.

This is an early production Rollei 35 and differs from later “standard” models in several ways. The overall fit and finish of the mechanism is of higher quality, with all-metal gearing instead of the mixed metal and plastic components found in later production. Additionally, the rewind mechanism on this early version is fully metal, while the standard models incorporated both metal and plastic parts.
